Opportunities for welders holding current 3/4G codings or prepared to test to EN9606 Standard 136/138.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reading & Understanding procedures relevant to task;
  • Ensuring correct set up- ie pre heat of torches, calibration and set up of set prior to commencement;
  • Ensuring all welds are within limits of verified procedure;
  • Cleaning weld area once complete ready for acceptance by NDT;
  • Maintaining housekeeping of work area;
  • Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates;
  • Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area;
  • Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures

Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £18.70 per hour day shift
  • £20.57 per hour Backshift
  • £28.05 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat am)
  • 37.40per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday)

Dayshift

  • Monday – Friday, 07:00AM – 15:00PM

Back shift

  • Monday – Thursday, 1530PM- 0130AM

Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to complete BPSS screening at the company’s cost.
