Description
Opportunities for experienced Platers.
Main Responsibilities
- Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings;
- Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting;
- Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so;
- Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings;
- Maintaining material traceability during assembly;
- Aligning and checking tolerances;
- Tack welding fabricated parts together;
- Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates;
- Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area;
- Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures
Pay Rate and Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- £18.70 per hour day shift
- £20.57 per hour Backshift
- £28.05 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat 1st 4 hours)
- £37.40 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday)

- Monday – Friday, 07:00AM – 15:00PM
Back shift
