Opportunities for welders holding current 3/4G codings or prepared to test to EN9606 Standard 136/138.

Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to complete BPSS screening at the company’s cost.

The company will provide a comprehensive training programme during the course of employment to ensure we deliver to the high standard required by our customer.

Other training such as confined space will be required for deployment on some workscopes. These roles offer long term opportunities with potential for progression.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reading & Understanding procedures relevant to task;
  • Ensuring correct set up- ie pre heat of torches, calibration and set up of set prior to commencement;
  • Ensuring all welds are within limits of verified procedure;
  • Cleaning weld area once complete ready for acceptance by NDT;
  • Maintaining housekeeping of work area;
  • Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates;
  • Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area;
  • Confined space work as required;

Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures


Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £20.57 per hour day shift
  • £22.63 per hour Backshift
  • £30.86 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat am)
  • £41.14 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday)
